Doris K. (Little) SetserMarch 10, 1935 ~ November 28, 2017 (age 82)
Doris K. (Little) Setser, age 82, died suddenly Tuesday, November 28, 2017 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born in Colchester, Il. on March 10, 1935 to Rollie and Essie (Nelson) Little. She was the youngest of five children. After graduating from Macomb High School, taught at St. Paul Catholic School, and then obtained her degree at Western Illinois University. She worked in the WIU Fine Arts Department from which she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Mary Jean Bryan, Laverne Keithley, and niece Julie (Bryan) Shaver. She is survived by her children Tony Setser (Pam), Jane Setser France (Randy), Janet Setser and Jean Setser, father of her children Bill Setser, sister Nita Little Brewer, brother Jack Little (Marilyn), grandchildren Matthew France (Taylar), Mitchell France, Leigh Setser Peterson (Justin), James Setser, Samuel Chandler (Jessica), great-grandchildren Julia and Savannah Chandler, Finley France, Brooks Peterson, Maverick France (on the way), nephews Michael Bryan (Pauline) and their family, Russell Bryan (Debbie) and their family, Alan Keithley (Cynthia), Maurice Keithley (Val) and their family, nieces Gail Little Malik (Jim), Paula Keithley Dumrauf (Bob) and their family, Kay Little Brooks (John) and their family, Diana Little Wozniak (Jim) and their family and very dear cousins. She was an active member at St. Paul Catholic Church in Macomb, IL, whether cooking, tending flower gardens or performing in choir.
Visitation will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Macomb, IL at 9 a.m., Monday, December 4th and Mass following at 10 a.m. with Father Stimpson officiating. She will be interred at the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Colchester, IL. Luncheon will be served afterward in the gymnasium at St. Paul Catholic School. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Paul Catholic School.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to the Fulton County, Il Sheriffs Department, Copperas Creek Fire and Rescue, Fulton County Emergency Medical Association, Timer-Hollis Fire Department, Illinois State Police for their help and several passers-by that devoted time at the scene.
