Pat Schisler

Pat Schisler, age 81,of rural Vermont, passed away on April 6, 2017 at 9:44 a.m. in Industry Township.

She was born on April 10,1935 in Macomb, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Lena Bainter Kleinkopf.

She married Jerry Schisler on January 10, 1954 in Colchester, Illinois.

She is survived by her husband Jerry, two daughters Teri Waugh of St. Augustine, Debbie (Mike) Black of Industry, one son Rick (Evet) Schisler of Good Hope, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, one sister Sharon Bloomfield of rural Colchester, and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, son in law George Waugh Jr., one brother Don Kleinkopf and one sister Curlene Booz.

Since her marriage Pat had lived in Macomb, Fountain Green, Stronghurst, and had lived in McDonough County East of Industry since 1965. Pat was an LPN and had worked for Dr. Andernovics in Industry, the Dohner Clinic in Rushville , and later for Bickford Cottage in Macomb before her retirement. She was a member of the West Prairie Church, and was a former member of the Ladies Investment Club in Macomb. Since her retirement Pat had volunteered at Loaves and Fishes in Macomb, and she also enjoyed gardening and walking.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the Clugston – Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Reverend Jeremy Westlake will officiate. Burial will be at the Pennington Point Cemetery in New Salem Township near Industry. Visitation will be held at the Clugston – Tibbitts Funeral Home on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.. Memorials may be made to the West Prairie Church or to Loaves and Fishes.
