John Wayne DildineFebruary 9, 1946 ~ October 1, 2017 (age 71)
John Wayne Dildine, 71, of Industry passed away at 3:15 a.m. Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Macomb.
John was born on February 9, 1946 in Williamsville, Missouri to Cecil and Beatrice Deason Dildine. He married Ruth Ann Coakley on February 16, 1968 at the Industry Assembly of God Church. She survives.
Also surviving are three children, Belinda Gomez of Beardstown, Waynette Markley of Industry and John (Megan) Dildine of Adair; eight grandchildren, Jessica (Jeremy) Nell of Stoughton, Wisconsin, Cody (Misty) Markley of Table Grove, Erica Sabino (Ryan Lashbrook) of Rushville, Angel Sabino of Rushville, A.J. Ruiz of Carthage, Emma Dildine of Adair, Ethan Dildine of Adair and Emerson Dildine of Adair; two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Ryker Markley of Table Gove; two sisters, Janet Ray of Pekin and Mina Dickinson of Astoria and one brother, Ron Dildine of Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
John was in the Navy serving aboard the USS Constellation during Vietnam from 1964 to 1968.
He went on to drive a semi for Max Fawcett trucking in Table Grove. He then was employed at NTN-Bower in Macomb from which he retired in 2005. He also farmed.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and talking on the CB. After retiring, he spent most days at Formans garage in Industry.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 at Industry Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jon Keck and Chaplain Ted Shirley officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial of ashes will be in the Industry Cemetery with full military rites being conducted by the Macomb American Legion and Macomb VFW.
Memorials may be made to the Industry Fire Department.
