Vildra Claire Mansir, 93, of Macomb, IL passed away, Thursday, March 5th, 2020. She was born in Sciota, IL, June 23rd, 1925, to the late Everette Fargusson and Zola Huff Fargusson.
Survivors include Arbon Don Mansir, her husband of 75 years, her five daughters: Melanie Hudson of Hot Springs, AR, Pamela Mansir of Hot Springs, AR, Teresa (Marlin) Webb of Milan, IL, Daundra (Doug) Clark of Benton, KY, and Lara (Dan) Lessard of Macomb, IL, along with twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters: Wava Poll, Klorris Promisson, Glenola Jones, and brothers: Gerald Fargusson, Kyron Fargusson, great grandson, Aidan Young, and son-in-law, Harley Hudson.
Vildra’s family and friends are thankful for their cherished memories of a long and loving relationship with her. Graceful and stylish all her life, Vildra’s friendly and generous nature captivated everyone. Within the family, she was a charming and loving wife, a wise and caring mother, and a selfless and giving sister. She was the perfect hostess, bringing friends and family together throughout her life. Family and friends will miss Vildra dearly.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 8th, 2020 at Maple Avenue Christian Church in Macomb, IL with Doug Clark, son-in-law, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A private graveside service will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery.
